The file was created in Carbide Create and is setup to run on the Shapeoko XXL. I cut these out of 1X12 pine 17" long, purchased at local lumber yard that measures .71" thick.

The .C2D file includes the tool paths which are cut with #201 which is a 1/4 flat end mill bit. I like to start by painting or staining the piece of light colored wood blue and then carving the flag design. Once it is carved I clean it up and finish with a few coats of poly.

With a little adjusting these can also easily be scaled to make a larger or even smaller version.

Included is the .c2d file ready to be opened in Carbide Create. I will also include the .nc files ready to be used in Carbide Motion with the steps listed above and an svg file so you can easily recreate or resize.
